Have You Ever Written Yourself A Love Letter?

Dear Reet,

You beautiful soul, I love you so much. Even though I have not always shown you love and kindness many times the opposite of love and kindness. I hated you for not being enough and thinking you were a failure. I gave love, compassion and kindness out to those around me and spoke of it so freely to everyone else.

There were days you didn't get out of bed and wanted to give up and even had thoughts of death. You knew deep down that wasn't the answer and found the strength to keep going. You looked in the mirror and didn't see your beauty, strength and love that was within you.

You seeked approval, validation, love and acceptance from everyone else and didn't realize the only person you needed and wanted it from was you.

Your expectations got you in trouble a few times because having unrealistic expectations of yourself only created more chaos and kept you chasing for an outcome instead of living in the moment and enjoying life as a journey to be taken one step at a time.

Then putting expectations on others always lead you to disappointments until you woke up and learned to love and accept people for where they are and not try to change them and focus on loving and living your own journey.

Thank you for waking up and realizing your worth and giving yourself permission to be the amazing, inspiring, loving, beautiful, nurturing, honest, quirky, unapologetically bold you. The world is perfect with you in it just as you are. The universe was designed with you in it and there are no mistakes in this universe only lessons for us to learn from and grow

I want you to know right now you are so loved. I love you with all my heart for never giving up on yourself, for getting up everyday and showing up for you even when it felt impossible to go on. You remember you don't give up, you keep going no matter how slow you go you take a rest and keep going. You are not in a race or competition with anyone else. Love yourself and let go of the control you try to hold onto for dear life. You know you can't control life, don't be so rigid, flow like the water and keep growing into the beautiful human you already are. Accept all of you the good, the bad, the ugly, the sad all of it. That's what makes you the unique women you are.

Keep believing in yourself your dreams and taking action in making them your daily life on this planet. Always remember you are already WHOLE. Keep serving yourself and others to make this world the place you see in you heart and soul.
